There are no ordinary moments
— Dan Millman, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior

Sit still. Watch. Listen. Meditate. Your journey into the art of photography has started. Not until the mind is stilled do we learn to see the world as it really is.

I find photography a way of recharging from the natural beauty that surrounds us every day. For me, there is something special in immersing one-self in nature.

The process of capturing images, editing them and producing artwork is, in itself, a mediative process for me.  I don't know who coined the phrase 'Zen Photography', but it describes perfectly my emotional connection to it. In viewing my images, I hope that you too find a connection.

I began my journey into photography when I was in high school.  I loved to photograph all types of sports, especially rock climbing and abseiling.

However, after high school, I gave up photography for other academic pursuits.  It wasn't until 2006 (some 18 years later) that I pick up a camera again and found a passion for landscape, travel and wildlife photography and art.  I have since been photographing for over 15 years around Australia and the world.
